Following initial feedback on the scope of the Local Plan Review and the response to their call for sites exercise, the Council have prepared an initial full draft Local Plan for consultation. The revised Local Plan will look forward to 2043 and will set out the planning policy framework for the National Park, guiding decisions on planning applications submitted within the National Park. Residents, organisations and businesses are encouraged to share their views on the next stage of the New Forest National Park Local Plan review.
The consultation runs from 5th November 2025 until 19th December 2025 and is an opportunity to provide feedback on the proposed policies.
