Spruce Town Planning continues to have a busy workload and we are looking for a part time Town Planner to join the company.
The ideal candidate will have a background in town planning. Chartered membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute is preferred, or someone working towards membership. Candidates should ideally have a degree in town planning or a related subject and at least 3 years experience in development management and/or planning policy matters working in either a local authority or consultancy environment.
The role will involve the preparation of planning applications and appeals, managing planning obligations and providing direct advice to clients. You will be well organised and able to manage multiple deadlines.
The role would suit someone working 2 to 3 days per week. It is based at the company office in Eastleigh, Hampshire although we support home working.
