The existing building was somewhat outdated due to previous unsympathetic additions and amendments, and did not contribute positively to the character and appearance of the Conservation Area. The re-development of the site is an opportunity to achieve a development that will improve the appearance of the building and the internal accommodation. Spruce Town Planning worked with the client and a wider project team to develop an attractive scheme that will make efficient use of the land and enhance the significance of the Conservation Area whilst providing valuable new homes in a highly accessible location. Permission was granted under delegated powers.
