Spruce Town Planning are pleased to have assisted their client to secure planning permission to demolish the existing buildings on the site and construct a replacement self-build house and outbuilding. The existing house had previously been extended and altered over time resulting in an inefficient use of the space. The approved development is an opportunity to construct a modern energy efficient home with an improved interior layout to meet the needs of the occupants. Care was taken to minimise the impact on significant trees and ensure the design has an appropriate relationship to neighbouring homes and the character of the area. The application was approved under delegated powers.
