Spruce Town Planning Ltd assisted their clients secure planning permission for the extension of a chapel building at a natural burial ground at Hassocks, West Sussex. The site was located in a countryside location in the South Downs National Park and it was therefore essential to arrive at a scheme that was appropriate to the character of the area and the setting of the National Park. Spruce Town Planning Ltd assisted the applicants to undertake pre-application discussions with the National Park Authority and then to prepare and submit a full planning application. Permission was secured under delegated powers within eight weeks.
