We were pleased to assist our clients to secure planning permission to comprehensively remodel and extend their house to create additional living space for their family. The site was constrained by numerous protected trees in its grounds meaning that an upwards extension was the most viable way of achieving additional living space in this case, but care still had to be taken to ensure that the works would be in keeping with the street scene. We worked with our clients to design and present a scheme that made best use of the space available whilst having an appropriate relationship with the neighbouring homes and character of the area. Planning permission was subsequently received at the first attempt.
